Merry Christmas!

I had big plans; I was gonna write a long witty letter and email it to everyone. I saved address books from my three computers and my Palm. I was gonna merge them into one massive hyper-organized address book and distribution list. The four saved address book files lie scattered across my Powerbook’s desktop, mocking me. Bah.

It’s a busy time, this.

Things don’t always go according to plan, but that’s part of life. The good news is, I had a fantastic Christmas. I woke up, for starters. I also got a TiVo (sorry Joe!, THANKS, BRENDA). True to form, I have also read all about how to add hard drives and hack the operating system so I can access the thing from my laptop wirelessly, but I think I’ll wait till the warranty expires before I delve into that nonsense.

But I digress.

Today (well, yesterday) was a good day. Things are not perfect, but things are good, for the most part. I’ve heard from many friends and family. I’m thrilled to have so many of both, and here’s a big shout-out to y’all, on this post-Christmas evening.
